In Memory of Alan Bleviss

“I think all education should be free. And if the government won’t do it, I will give as much as I can to help. I believe theatre can change the world.” – Alan Bleviss

It is with great sadness that we write that our father, Alan Bleviss passed away on December 30, 2017 morning after a 25 month battle with lung cancer.

He leaves behind his children Sarah Jenny, Joshua Eli and Lisa Aviva along with his partner Tessa.

Alan leaves behind a legacy of being one of the most prolific and talented voice-over actors, a philanthropist in support of education to the University of Alberta and the National Theatre School of Canada, Jewish organizations and countless others.

Our father will be missed tremendously.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his memory to the National Theatre School of Canada or the University of Alberta.

His memory will forever be a blessing.
